About the Ultrasonic Bark Deterrent

How does it work? Press the button and the device makes a short, high-pitched tone that most adults can't hear but most dogs notice. Many dogs stop barking to check out the sound. Reward your dog the moment they're quiet — that's what builds the habit.

Does it hurt my dog? No. It doesn't touch or shock your dog, and there's no spray. Don't hold it right next to your dog's ears and don't press it continuously.

Will it work on my dog? Many dogs pause and look at you the first time, but every dog is different. Some take a few days, and some aren't bothered at all. It's made for adult dogs 6 months to about 8 years old — senior dogs or dogs with hearing loss may not notice it. That's why every order comes with our 30-Day Quiet Guarantee.

Does it work through walls, windows or fences? No. Ultrasonic sound doesn't travel well through walls, windows or solid fences. Your dog needs to be in the same room or yard with nothing solid in between. It works best within about 18 feet and has a maximum range of about 26 feet (8 m).

Can I hear it? Most adults can't. Some people, especially children, may hear a faint high-pitched sound.

What age of dog is it suitable for? Adult dogs from 6 months to about 8 years old. It isn't recommended for puppies under 6 months, and senior dogs may not notice the tone.

Is it safe around other pets? Cats may notice the tone too. Don't use it near small pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs or hamsters.

How do I charge it? Plug it in with the included USB-C cable. The built-in LED flashlight runs from the same battery.

Should I use it for fear or aggression? No. If your dog's barking comes with fear, aggression or a sudden change in behavior, please talk to your vet or a qualified trainer.

Shipping

Where do you ship? Anywhere in the United States. We can't ship to PO Boxes or APO/FPO/DPO addresses, because the device has a rechargeable battery and travels on a dedicated shipping service.

How much is shipping? Free on every order, with tracking.

How long will my order take? We prepare orders in 1–3 business days. Delivery then takes 6–12 business days, so most orders arrive within 7–15 business days.

Will I pay any import fees? No. Prices include all import duties.

Will my order arrive before Christmas? For delivery before December 24, 2026, please order by November 30, 2026.

How do I track my order? You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order ships. You can also check it on our Track Your Order page.

Guarantee & returns

What is the 30-Day Quiet Guarantee? If the bark deterrent doesn't help with your dog's barking, email support@pawsfable.com within 30 days of delivery and we'll refund you in full. You don't need to send it back.

What if it arrives damaged or stops working? Email us a photo or short video within 30 days of delivery and we'll replace it or refund you — usually without needing it back.

How long do refunds take? We refund to your original payment method within 5 business days of approval. Your bank may take a further 5–10 business days to show it.

Can I cancel or change my order? Yes, within 12 hours of ordering, as long as it hasn't shipped. Email support@pawsfable.com with your order number.
